Western Colorado Golf Trip cost calculator

How much does a Western Colorado golf trip really cost?

Redlands Mesa below the Colorado National Monument, Lakota Links above the Colorado River, Devil's Thumb near Delta and Tiara Rado in Grand Junction, with two hotel rooms in Grand Junction, are the plan. Airfare into Grand Junction near $500, Redlands Mesa at about $150 a round and a rental car for the long drives are what push the total up.

Plan your tee times

Pick each course you'll play (one round per golfer) and we'll price it for your group. Prices are per golfer for 18 holes, with the season and time of day you choose. Your picks set “Green fees per golfer (whole trip)” in your budget.

Tiara Rado, Lincoln Park, Devil's Thumb and Cedaredge charge the same all season; Lakota, Rifle Creek and Battlement Mesa publish lower spring and fall rates, which we blend for shoulder months, and Redlands Mesa's are estimated from its Golf Passport prices. Twilight is about 35% off, as at Lakota and Cedaredge. The Grand Junction courses stay open most of the winter, but Lakota closes from December to mid-March and the higher courses close or play on mild days only, so winter prices are rough. Source

Ways to keep it down

  1. Play Lakota Links after 3:30 pm in summer for $75 instead of $135, cart included.
  2. Walk Tiara Rado: visitors pay $64 for 18 holes, and the $20 cart fee is optional.
  3. Buy the Colorado Golf Passport if you play several of these courses: Redlands Mesa is $125 with a cart in summer at set times, Devil's Thumb $63 and Tiara Rado $35.

How we built this estimate

The sample is 4 travelers for 4 nights. Your plan ($6,348) covers the main costs most people budget for, the ones you enter on the left. Costs people forget ($2,712, about 43% more for this trip) are the fees, taxes, tips and extras listed in the calculator. Prices were last checked on October 17, 2026.

What moves the price most

  • Airfare per person$1,988 · 22%
  • Green fees per golfer (whole trip)$1,800 · 20%
  • Food per person$1,360 · 15%
