North Georgia Mountains Golf Trip cost calculator

How much does a North Georgia Mountains golf trip really cost?

Old Toccoa Farm, Brasstown Valley, Achasta and a cabin near Dahlonega are the plan. A 16% lodging tax plus Georgia's $5 nightly fee, golf bag fees and a car to cover long mountain drives from Atlanta are what push the total up.

Chicopee Woods, Apple Mountain, Butternut Creek and Lanier Islands use real November tee-time prices; elsewhere spring is set about 10% below peak, March and November about 15% below, and winter about 40% below, when frost delays, snow and short hours close many mountain tee sheets. Twilight is about 30% off, in line with Chicopee Woods and Achasta. Source

Ways to keep it down

  1. Play late: Chicopee Woods drops from about $97 in the morning to about $64 after 2:45 pm.
  2. Mix in value rounds: Butternut Creek and Old Union run about $60 with a cart, less than half of Old Toccoa Farm.
  3. Go in April or May: rates run about 10% under the summer and fall-color peak, and cabins are easier to find than in October.

How we built this estimate

The sample is 4 travelers for 4 nights. Your plan ($6,676) covers the main costs most people budget for, the ones you enter on the left. Costs people forget ($2,807, about 42% more for this trip) are the fees, taxes, tips and extras listed in the calculator. Prices were last checked on October 17, 2026.

What moves the price most

  • Airfare per person$1,956 · 21%
  • Green fees per golfer (whole trip)$1,760 · 19%
  • Rental home per night (whole group)$1,600 · 17%
  • Food per person$1,360 · 14%

Share of the $9,483 real cost. Nights and travelers multiply most of these costs, so changing either one moves the total the most.
