Golden Isles Golf Trip cost calculator

How much does a Golden Isles golf trip really cost?

Rounds at Jekyll Island's Great Dunes, Sea Palms, Sanctuary and Pine Lakes and a rental home on St. Simons Island are the plan. A 14% lodging tax plus Georgia's $5 nightly fee, golf bag fees, a car from Jacksonville and a Sea Island stay if you want its resort courses push the total up.

Ways to keep it down

  1. Fly into Jacksonville: fares averaged about $455, against about $681 into Brunswick's small airport.
  2. Play Sea Island in summer if you stay there: Plantation drops from $335 to $260 and Retreat from $245 to $195, with lower rates again after 3 pm.
  3. Mix in Jekyll's Pine Lakes at about $105 or a $45 nine on Indian Mound instead of four premium rounds.
