San Francisco Bay Area Golf Trip cost calculator

How much does a San Francisco golf trip really cost?

TPC Harding Park, Half Moon Bay's Ocean Course, the Presidio and Corica Park with two hotel rooms in San Francisco are the plan. A 17.5% hotel tax, about $60 a night to park, golf bag fees, a rental car and the higher visitor rates at the city courses are what push the total up.

The city and county courses (Presidio, Lincoln, Sharp Park, Metropolitan, Corica, Baylands) and Poppy Ridge post one rate all year, so they stay fixed; Harding Park, Half Moon Bay and Wente price by demand, so spring is set about 10% below peak and the rainy winter about 25% below. Twilight is about 30% off, in line with the Presidio ($99 against $132), Wente ($119 against $189) and Sharp Park ($58 against $88). Source

Can visitors play TPC Harding Park?

Yes. Harding Park is a San Francisco city course, so anyone can book a tee time online. Visitors pay a demand-based rate with no posted price card, and San Francisco resident cardholders are guaranteed the lowest rate. Expect to pay about $300 in peak season, plus a cart if you ride. Source

Do San Francisco city courses charge visitors more?

Source

When is the best time to golf in San Francisco?

Late summer and early fall. September is the warmest month, with highs near 72°F, and August is the clearest, while June and July often bring fog to the courses by the ocean. Winter is the rainy season, with February the wettest month at about 4 inches, so courses can be soft and wet. Source
