Greenville & Upstate Golf Trip cost calculator

How much does a Greenville golf trip really cost?

Rounds at Clemson's Walker Course, The Preserve at Verdae, Furman and Cherokee Valley and a rental home in Greenville are the plan. A 10% lodging tax, airfare into GSP, golf bag fees and a rental car push the total up, and Clemson home football weekends raise both golf and lodging prices.

Pick each course you'll play (one round per golfer) and we'll price it for your group. Prices are per golfer for 18 holes, with the season and time of day you choose. Your picks set “Green fees per golfer (whole trip)” in your budget.

The Walker Course publishes one rate from April to November and a winter rate of $65 to $70 (December to March), so it keeps those; elsewhere fall is about 5% below spring, summer about 15% below and winter about 25% below, since few Upstate courses publish seasonal cards. Courses stay open all winter. Twilight is about 25% off, in line with Cherokee Valley ($45–$55) and the Walker Course ($70–$80). Clemson football-day rates are not modeled. Source

How we built this estimate

The sample is 4 travelers for 4 nights. Your plan ($6,036) covers the main costs most people budget for, the ones you enter on the left. Costs people forget ($2,628, about 44% more for this trip) are the fees, taxes, tips and extras listed in the calculator. Prices were last checked on October 17, 2026.

What moves the price most

  • Airfare per person$1,996 · 23%
  • Rental home per night (whole group)$1,360 · 16%
  • Food per person$1,360 · 16%
  • Green fees per golfer (whole trip)$1,320 · 15%

Share of the $8,664 real cost. Nights and travelers multiply most of these costs, so changing either one moves the total the most.
